Driving conditions are favorable in most of Bosnia and Herzegovina this morning, while slower traffic is expected on sections where works are in progress.
Due to regular servicing of the Vukov Gaj and Oštrik tunnels, the highway section will be closed from 6 p.m Highway A-1 Sarajevo west–Sarajevo north, as well as the entrance to the highway from Safeta Zajka street (Briješće–Butile–Sarajevo north).
Work is also ongoing on the A-1 Kakanj-Lašva section, where the left lane is closed for a three-kilometer stretch of roadway, and traffic is moving in both directions on the opposite side of the highway. On the sections Sarajevo north-Podlugovi and Sarajevo west-Lepenica, traffic was diverted to the overtaking lane due to the works.
The movement of all vehicles over the bridge on the main road is prohibited Dobro Polje–Miljevina. Passenger vehicles up to 3.5 tons can use alternative routes via Grepko or Kalinovikwhile freight vehicles travel across Rogatica and It’s a matchmaker.
On the main road Tuzla–Bijeljina (Banj Brdo) vehicles up to 3.5 tons travel in one lane, alternately, while traffic is suspended for heavier vehicles. The situation is similar on the stock Apple tree–Blidinjewhere only light vehicles are allowed to pass.
On the main road M-5, on the direction Izacic–Bihacworks are underway on the reconstruction of the bridge over the Mrižnica stream, which is why the traffic takes place alternately, via a temporary detour.
At border crossings, delays for passenger vehicles currently range from 10 to 30 minutes, but longer waits are possible due to the application of the new entry and exit registration system from the European Union (EES).
Border crossing Brčko is open to vehicles up to 3.5 tons, while Karakaj open to all vehicle categories. At the crossing Šepak the traffic ban for goods vehicles is still in force.
