TESANJ – Tonight, Tešanj was the center of sports and positive energy.
Organized by the Association Running Team Tešanj, the second consecutive edition of the road race “Tešanj 5K” was held, and the results exceeded all expectations.
Impressive figures and new records The fact that Tešanj is slowly but surely becoming an unavoidable destination on the racing map of Bosnia and Herzegovina is best confirmed by the number of finishers.
This year, as many as 874 participants successfully ran the 5-kilometer section, which is almost twice as many as compared to the premier race, which gathered 475 runners. How significant this result is is also shown by the fact that Tešanj surpassed even the record-breaking editions of the “Travnik 5K” race, which recorded its most massive year in 2019 with 870 runners.
Winners in the men’s and women’s competition Although the focus was on the mass and promotion of a healthy life, the competitive spirit was not absent, and excellent times were achieved.
