Tonga is affected by a strong earthquake of 7.1 degrees, which caused fear of Tsunami.
The earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 km along the coast of the city of Pangai, on the west side of this island state in the southern Pacific, in the early morning on Monday local time.
According to the officials, there is a threat of Tsunami for the region near the epicenter.

The meteorological institution confirmed that there is no threat of Tsunami for Australia.
