President of Russia Vladimir Putin held a press conference today where he summarized the results at the end of 2025.
Speaking about the Oil Industry of Serbia (NIS), Putin expressed hope that a joint solution would be found.
– We know what is happening with the NIS company. We have an interstate agreement and we assume that the friendly Serbian leadership will take this into account. We have an idea in which direction we want to move forward together. We are working on it and I hope we will find the necessary solution – said the Russian president when asked by the media from Serbia.
– NIS is a company in which Gazpromneft has invested a significant amount of money, over three billion dollars so far, and transformed it into a modern, highly efficient and operational enterprise. She is the main taxpayer in the budget of Serbia – added Putin.
Commenting on the relations between Russia and NATO, Putin said that he personally knows the current NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, that he considers him a smart, experienced politician, but that it is completely unclear to him what kind of nonsense he is talking about, constantly mentioning the Russian threat.
He recalled that the new US national security strategy does not mention Russia as an adversary or enemy, but that Ruta still claims the opposite. Putin suggested that Rute read the new American strategy.
Putin said again that he sometimes drives through the streets of Moscow without a police escort.
– Such situations allow me to personally see what is happening in different parts of the city and what the situation is like on the roads of the capital – said Putin to the 13-year-old journalist of the youth “Children’s Redaction”.
