In order to introduce young people to the modern industrial environment and concrete opportunities for career development in the production sector, the company Hemtech doo hosted the students of the Tešanj mixed secondary school. The visit was organized as part of the company’s continuous activities aimed at connecting education and the economy, with the aim that students gain insight into real work processes, technologies and market requirements through direct experience.
“After the meeting with the representatives of the Mixed High School Tešanj, we decided to further develop cooperation and enable the students to get to know business processes first hand, especially through practical teaching, which is important both for the students and for us as employers. Such visits are an important step to show young people what a modern production environment looks like and what all the possibilities are offered by companies like Hemtech. We will continue with such activities, because our goal is to present young people with competitive working conditions, learning and development opportunities, and to motivate them to build their future right here.” pointed out the director of the Hemtech company, Enes Hadžiahmić. He added that during the visit, a special focus was placed on presenting opportunities for practical work and employment, because Hemtech continuously offers paid internships with the mentoring support of experienced experts, where students can learn through work, develop concrete skills and gain experience in a professional environment. In addition, the company offers the possibility of long-term employment and further professional development for those who show interest and potential.
During the tour of the production plants, students who are training for professions such as mechatronics, CNC operators, metal workers, auto mechanics, electricians and welders, had the opportunity to learn about the complete production process. From the preparation and processing of materials, through various welding methods (MIG/MAG, TIG and electro), to quality control and final assembly of complex steel structures, the visit enabled them to better understand the work processes at the Hemtech company. During the presentation, the students were addressed by Zijad Delić, production manager, and Adnan Trakić, Operations Manager, who presented the complete production processes, the method of work organization and answered the professional questions of the students, further bringing the daily challenges and requirements of working in the industry closer.
The representatives of the school expressed their satisfaction with the realized visit, emphasizing the importance of such initiatives for the professional orientation of students. They pointed out that cooperation with companies that offer paid internships and realistic employment opportunities significantly contributes to student motivation, as it gives them a clearer picture of career paths and labor market expectations.
Special attention was drawn to the advanced technologies used by the company, including laser cutting, metal bending and the integration of electrical and electronic components into final products, which ranks Hemtech among modern production systems oriented towards the European market. The company offers young people the opportunity to work on international projects at the very beginning of their career and develop skills in accordance with modern industry standards.
