Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said today, May 3, that the whole world is waiting for Russian President Vladimir Putin’s speech at the May 9 parade in Moscow and that it will be a very important address.
“We are expecting a very important speech by the president at the parade, as always. The whole world is waiting for him, and rightly so,” Peskov added in a statement to Russian media.
Putin will hold several bilateral meetings with guests on the occasion of Victory Day, May 9, the Kremlin spokesman announced, RIA Novosti reports.
“The president will have a busy day,” Peskov emphasized.
The victory parade will traditionally take place on Red Square in Moscow on May 9.
