The Federal Ministry of Finance has provided funds for the payment of disability benefits for war invalids and families of fallen defenders and holders of war decorations for March 2026 in the amount of 40,479,940.43.
Funds were also provided for the payment of civil disability benefits – care and assistance of others, and for civilian victims of the war for the previous month in the total amount of 26,213,616.92 KM.
Payment orders for these categories were sent to the banks, the Federal Ministry of Finance announced.
Decision of the FBiH Government
We would like to remind you that on March 18, the Government of the Federation passed a decision to determine the basis for determining the amount of monthly cash benefits for the beneficiaries of veteran-disability protection in the Federation of BiH for the period January-June 2026 (disability benefit), in the amount of 1,171.28 KM.
Based on this basis, the amount of monthly cash benefits for personal and family disability benefits in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the period January – June 2026 is determined, in accordance with the Law on the Rights of Veterans and Members of Their Families, as well as for beneficiaries of the right to veterans’ and disability protection who acquired this right before 6 April 1992. year.
Average disability benefit
For example, the average disability allowance of 450 KM will be increased by 11.2 percent, that is, when it is converted into money, it will be higher by 50.4 KM and will amount to a little over 500 KM.
It is necessary to say that in the future war disability benefits, family disability benefits (martyr’s families), subsistence allowance from the federal level will be linked to the increase of pensions in FBiH.
The subsistence allowance from the Federation level will increase to 6.20 KM, and users will be paid a retroactive increase for January and February. Some 63 pfennigs each, which is 1.26 KM.
