Belgrade Partizan basketball players convincingly defeated Sarajevo Bosnia in the second round of the Top 8 phase of the ABA League. In the Zetra hall, Partizan beat Students with a score of 96:56.
Away team from the start she imposed a high rhythm and showed already in the opening minutes that they will control the course of the match. Carried by a large number of three-point shots hit and in a good mood Osetkowski i Brown, the guests quickly built a high advantage. In the first ten minutes, they scored six three-pointers and after the first quarter had a nine-point advantage, while the difference continued to grow in the second period of the game, so the guests already had a double-digit advantage in the middle of that period.
Bosnia in the first three quarters of this game had a lot of trouble in organizing the attackwhile in defense she was unable to stop the motivated Partizan players, and because of that the difference grew to a big 55:27 before the break.
The third quarter of the meeting in Zetra took place with the same balance of forces on the field. The Belgrade team continued to play calmly and organized, using almost every inattention of the opponent to further increase the difference. From the halftime, there was no doubt as to who would win this match.
In the final period of the match, Bosnia played somewhat better. The local basketball players showed a slightly higher dose of aggressiveness and scored points that contributed to the final score not exceeding 40 points, but that was the maximum they managed to achieve in a game against a much better opponent. Partizan brought the game to an end without any problems and maintained a convincing difference for the final 96:56.
With this triumph, the Belgrade club rose to the top of the ABA league table, while Bosnia shares last place with Igoke with an 8-10 performance.
