– The official response from the Iranian side on the confirmation of the delegation to participate in the peace talks in Islamabad is still awaited – Minister Attaullah Tarar announced on Platform X, stressing that the decision is “critical” because there are only a few hours left until the end of the two-week truce reached between the warring parties.
President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that he does not want to extend the truce in the US-Israeli war against Iran and that the US military is “preparing to move” if negotiations fail.
Washington expressed confidence that the latest talks with Iran would continue in Pakistan, and a senior Iranian official said Tehran was considering joining. However, with the last hours of the two-week truce, there is little time left, reports Reuters.
