The women from Banja Luka defended the BiH Cup trophy, which they have won for the last six years.
The Eagles opened the game better and took a 21:6 lead, and ended the first period with a score of 28:21.
In the 14th minute, the women from Zenica turned the game around and took the lead with 31:30, but at halftime, the women from Banja Luka still had a three-point advantage – 44:41.
In the third period, at the end of which they had a maximum advantage of 16 points – 67:51, it seemed that they had gained enough stock to play more calmly in the last part, but they still celebrated in a dramatic ending with 77:75.
In the 35th minute, the Eagles had a 16-point advantage again, with a score of 72:56, but the Zenica players went on a 7:0 run, and later on a 10:0 run, one minute and 25 seconds before the end, to only two points behind – 75:73.
In the dramatic ending, the women from Banja Luka managed to hit two free throws each and take the lead 77:73, and Jumper only managed to mitigate the defeat until the end.
Mia Draškičević was the most effective in the winning team with 17 points, while Camryn Hill was the most effective in the Jumper team with 23 points.
Jumper defeated Livno yesterday in the semi-finals with a score of 66:54 (25:16, 16:13, 8:17 and 17:8), while the Eagles beat Leotar 03 from Trebinje in the semi-finals and won with 75:66 (21:18, 10:19, 32:16 and 12:13).
