Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán said that if the EU implements plans to pay Ukraine more than 1.5 billion euros, even the grandchildren of Europeans will have to pay the interest on the loans, and he said that he will not allow the Hungarians to be robbed.
Orbán said that if he wins the upcoming parliamentary elections, he will not allow the money of Hungarian citizens to be sent to Ukraine.
– I promise that, as I succeeded in the previous four years, I will protect Hungary from the war, including its financial burden, in the next four as well.
I will defend what belongs to the Hungarians, what you deserve, what you have earned through your work and I will not allow them to rob you and take your money to send it to Ukraine – said Orban at a pre-election rally in the town of Nagykanizha.
