The same source stated that Sijarto and Janoš Lazar will also take over the mandates, while several prominent officials of the previous government will not sit in the new convocation of the parliament.
Fides-KDNP will have 52 seats in the 199-member parliament.
The 44-member Fidesz parliamentary club will be led by Gergelj Guljaš, while the eight-member KDNP club will be led by Bence Retvari.
Among those who will not take over the mandate are Viktor Orbán, László Kever, Antal Rogan, Žolt Šemjen, Tamas Mencer and other long-term representatives of the current government.
Guljaš, announcing the new composition of the parliamentary group, said that the task of Fidesz-KDNP will be to represent a “normal opposition” in the Hungarian parliament.
