And now the 33-year-old former star of Italy’s Inter, Liverpool and Germany’s Bayern has decided to cut ties with his current club and the club of his heart, Vasco da Gama, due to mental health problems, according to the player himself.
Coutinho, after being at the center of the world’s attention after his excellent performances at Liverpool under the guidance of Jurgen Klopp, moved to Barcelona in a transfer fee of as much as 120 million euros.
The Brazilian could not ignore this offer and ended up signing for the Catalan club in January 2018, even after the words of the German coach who asked him to stay.
Coutinho signed a contract for five and a half years, but his stay at the Catalan club was full of very poor performances, which gradually relegated him to the bench, without ever showing the brilliant game with which he charmed in the English Premier League, reports Marca.
Due to his poor form, Barcelona loaned him to Bayern Munich in 2019.
The Brazilian even scored two goals and an assist in the German team’s historic 8:2 victory in the quarterfinals of the European Champions League against Barcelona.

And Coutinho mentioned on social networks why he terminated his contract with Vasco da Gama, the club of his heart and where he formed as a footballer in the younger categories.
“There was never a lack of commitment, there was never a lack of desire and dedication; it is very difficult to be judged by countless people for something that is not part of my character,” Coutinho announced.
