The race on a very difficult track, which was not completed by many favorites, and which was set by the coach of the Norwegian national team, was completed by Muzaferia in a time of 1:25:85.
The gold medal was won by Italian veteran Federica Brignone with a time of 1:23:41. The silver went to the Frenchwoman Romane Miradola, who was 41 hundredths of a second behind the winner. Third-placed Austrian Corelija Huetter drove 52 hundredths slower than Brignone.
