February of the American Foreign Minister Marco Rubo and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, during the first time on the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022, agreed to the establishment of “Consultation Mechanism” for resolving bilateral disagreements and appointment of conflict negotiators in Ukraine, index transmits.
According to the source that did not want to be appointed, today’s meeting will be at a lower level than the previous one.
These agreements followed a telephone call between U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian leaders of Vladimir Putin, which caused concern among the Western Allies.
Trump recently stated that he plans to meet the path in Saudi Arabia, but the date is not yet determined.
