Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has announced today that he would intensify the current war in Gaza and continue the plan proposed by US President Donald Trump to displace Palestinians from the blocked enclave.
Speaking at the beginning of the Government’s session, Netanyahu said that “a combination of military and political pressure is the only way to recover hostages, not empty slogans I listen to in TV studios.”
The “Ydioth Ahronoth” reports that these messages are directly criticized to prominent Israeli analysts and the families of the hostages, who warned that Israeli military actions endanger the hostages and accused the Prime Minister that his personal political gains priority above their rescue.
Netanyahu claims that the military pressure works, stating that he reduces Hamas abilities and creates the conditions for the release of the hostages.
“We will spend the Trump plan, voluntary migration plan. It is our strategy and we are ready to talk about it at any time,” he added.
The Emergency Arabic Summit on Palestinia, held 4. March in Cairo, adopted a five-year plan worth $ 53 billion to rebuild the gauze without displacing its inhabitants.
