Addressing the members of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), he said: “You are also in our crosshairs. Whoever lays down his arms, nothing will happen to him. Whoever does not, bears the consequences himself.”
Netanyahu told the Iranian people that “the moment of truth is approaching.”
“We are not trying to divide Iran. We are trying to liberate Iran. But ultimately it will depend on you whether Iran is liberated,” he stressed.
He claims that this “liberation of Iran” could bring peace between Israel and Iran.
He pointed out that US President Donald Trump told him during their meeting in December: “Bibi, we have to prevent Iran from getting nuclear weapons at all costs.”
He thanked Trump for his “historic leadership” in the “US-Israel alliance, which is stronger than ever.” He added that Israel “stands with” other countries attacked by Iran and claims that “many countries” are turning to Israel asking for cooperation, reports Index.hr.
He accused the United Nations of remaining silent while, he said, Iranians were being killed.
“When the late Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei was killing Iranians, where was the UN? Where were many countries in the West?” Netanyahu asked.
“Many countries today see exactly who they can count on. Israel is a beacon of strength and hope,” he said.
Netanyahu also warned the Lebanese government: “It is your responsibility to implement the 2024 ceasefire agreement. It is your responsibility to disarm Hezbollah.”
“If the Lebanese government does not do this, Hezbollah’s attacks will bring disaster to Lebanon. The time has come for you to take your destiny into your own hands,” he said.
He announced that Israel “will do whatever it takes to protect its cities and its citizens.”
