In a statement posted on Platform X, Netanyahu said he delayed the release of his annual medical report by two months to avoid releasing it “at the height of war,” citing concerns that Iran could use the information for “false propaganda against Israel.”
The Israeli leader said that a “tiny spot” smaller than a centimeter was found in his prostate during a routine examination. Further examination confirmed that it was an early-stage malignant tumor without spread or metastasis.
– Thank God, I’m healthy. I am in excellent physical condition. I had a minor medical problem with my prostate that was completely cured. Thank God, that’s behind me – Netanyahu said.
– The doctors told me that it is very common among men of my age – he said, emphasizing that “it does not have to be treated” or that it can be “undergoed treatment and the problem removed”.
He said he opted for immediate targeted treatment which successfully cleared the problem.
He also revealed that he had previously, about a year and a half ago, been operated on for an enlarged benign prostate and that since then he has been under regular medical supervision.
In 2023, he was implanted with a pacemaker.
