On June 13 and 14, Mostar will host one of the most important international sports events this year – the World Sports Festival organized by the World Fitness Federation (WFF).
This one prestigious event will gather athletes from numerous countries around the world who will compete in disciplines bodybuilding and fitness, strength disciplines and athletic disciplines.
The organization of such an event represents great recognition for Bosnia and Herzegovina, but also for Mostar, which will become the center for two days world fitness and bodybuilding scenes. The arrival of a large number of competitors, sports workers and sports fans is expected, which will make the festival one of the biggest sports events of the year in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The arrival gives special importance to the festival by Graeme Lancefield from Australia, president of the World Fitness Federation and one of the most respected names in the world of bodybuilding and fitness. His first visit to the Balkans confirmation is the growing importance that the region has on the international fitness and sports map.
Members will also perform at the competition Bodybuilding Club Široki from Široki Brijegwho after a long break is returning to the bodybuilding and fitness scene. The return of the club represents a significant step forward for the development of this sport in Široki Brijeg and West Herzegovina County, but also an opportunity for the affirmation of new competitors who will measure their abilities against top athletes from all over the world.
The representatives of the club point out that the performance in this kind of competition an important step in rebuilding and strengthening the club and the promotion of bodybuilding and fitness among young people. Participation in the World Sports Festival in Mostar will provide them with the opportunity to gain new experiences, international contacts and sports training.
