The Federal Minister of Fighters and Disabled Defense-Liberation War Nedžad Lokmić attended the Day of Doboj Doboj Jug and the Days of the Battle of Karuši, together with the representatives of the Federal, Cantonal and Municipal Level.
From the Federal Ministry of Fighters and Disabled Defense-Liberation War, the marking program began with the intonation of the state anthem and taking flowers at the central memorial to the Program, and the Ceremonial Session of the Municipal Council Doboj South was held.
Minister Lokmić in his address emphasized the importance of preserving the memory of heroic struggles from last war. Also, he emphasized the importance of transferring historical heritage to the younger generation.
– Fighters who fought on the carouss, as well as all Arbih fighters, gave an incredible contribution to the fight for freedom of our homeland. Our permanent obligation is to preserve the memory of their victims and ensure that their heroic effort never forgets – said Minister Lokmić.
Minister Lokmić concluded that the courage of fighters, as well as their victim, the foundation on which contemporary Bosnia and Herzegovina was built.
– Our obligation is to continue working on building a state of equal opportunities for all its citizens, because it is what our fighters want, free, democratic and prosperous homeland – Minister Lokmić concluded.
The Minister of Veterans’ Zenica-Doboj Canton, Adnan Sirovic emphasized the importance of marking significant dates as this, and to preserve the memory of the heroic contribution and secured the future without repeating aggression from the past.
On this occasion, they have been served and thanks to persons who have contributed to the development of the Municipality of Doboj South and improve the quality of life of citizens, the Federal Ministry of Fighters and Disabled Defense-Liberation War was announced.
