Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni emphasized in joint statements after meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Rome on Wednesday that in times of international instability, friendship between brotherly nations makes a difference, Ansa reported.
– Instability is slowly becoming our new normal, a disorienting and frightening scenario – she said.
– But especially in times like this, friendship between brotherly peoples, who helped each other in the most difficult moments of their history, makes a difference. Italy and Ukraine have done this, linked by a deep friendship, and will continue to do so in the coming years, strengthening their friendship and cooperation – stated Meloni.
