Football club Leotar from Trebinje issued a press release on the occasion of the end of the competitive season, in which they summarized the results and announced further steps in the development of the club.
As the Management Board points out, behind them is “a season full of challenges, ups and downs”, but also a period in which the club showed character and great affection blue and white colors. They thanked the professional staff, players and employees for their engagement, and they sent special thanks to the fans who, as they say, were unreservedly supportive from the stands of the Police stadium.
In the club they emphasize how sports results must be monitored quality organization and infrastructure. Leotar’s ambition is to be ready for the highest level of competition, which, they say, is manifested through continuous work on meeting sporting, administrative and financial criteria.
Considerable focus is placed on infrastructure projectswhich were intensified in order for the club to meet the licensing requirements for the Premier League of BiH. The works include the modernization of the dressing rooms and official rooms at the Police stadium, as well as the improvement of the lawn and supporting facilities, all in accordance with the standards of UEFA and the Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Special emphasis was placed on the development of the youth department. They have already been installed on the auxiliary field reflectorswhile works are underway on construction of new dressing rooms and stands.
Leotar points out that the implementation of the projects would not be possible without the support of the City of Trebinje, power companies, competent institutions and sponsors, with the expectation of additional assistance from the Football Association of the Republic of Srpska in the coming period.
The club is facing a break, which they plan to use to consolidate the team, strengthen the playing staff and finish the work that has been started.
FK Leotar remains committed to his long-term goal – a stable, successful and modern club that Trebinje and all of Herzegovina will be proud ofsaid the Management Board.
