Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov praised U.S. President Donald Trump because he said the previous US Support to Ukrainian efforts to join the NATO military covenant in Ukraine.
Trump said that he did not see the way Russia could allow Ukraine to join NATO, and blamed the former Democratic President Joe Biden for the alleged change of Ukraine’s membership in NATO.
“He is the first and so far, in my opinion, the only Western leader who said in public that one of the basic causes of the situation in Ukraine was the giving line of the prior administration to draw Ukraine to NATO,” Lavrov MPs.
“No West leader never said that, and he said that several times. This is already a signal to understand our position,” Lavrov said.
In the middle of the conversation with the United States in Riyadh, Russia required NATO 2008. That Ukraine will one day give membership in the United States, and rejected the idea that NATO members could be guards Peace according to some kind of fire interruption agreement.
