Communication with Ukraine in Turkey was important and useful, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.
– I believe it is important and useful. This process of direct negotiations, in connection with which you agreed in one of the last telephone conversations with the (President of the United States) by Donald Trump, works – said Lavrov at the meeting of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin with members of the cabinet.
Lavrov pointed out that both rounds of negotiations brought concrete results, and as an example, plans for the exchange of prisoners of war and for the return of the bodies of the dead of Ukrainian soldiers in Ukraine.
