The scout is one of the synonyms of Ljubuški, it is literally life for those who love him, and this evening will confirm that and how many friends of the Scout will come and be the wind in the sails of this coming youthsaid this evening at the “Scout Night” donor dinner – the president of the Scout Handball Club, Toni Kraljević.
Among the guests of the donor dinner at the Bigeste Hotel in Ljubuški, there were more than 300 guestsnumerous friends, donors, sponsors and sympathizers of the club with the aim of collecting financial resources intended to support the development of handball sports in the city of Ljubuško.
Club president Kraljević emphasized that they are in the club proud of the 12th title of champion of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the fact that the team played in the semifinals of the EHF European Cup two years in a row, and expressed the hope that answers will be found to the significant changes in the playing staff, especially the departure of the best player Dijan Ćeška.

He announced the possibility that Scout will play the group stage of the EHF European League, which the coefficient and propositions theoretically allow, but confirmation from the EHF is yet to come.
In BiH, of course, again let’s go get the trophyregardless of the team. We know that Dijano has left us, there will probably be some more departures, but regardless of all that, I think that we will again have a strong enough team to be competitive for the very top of the championshiphe said.
Building on President Kraljević’s comment about finances, he emphasized that it will be difficult to replace the Croatian representative Ćekko from that perspective.
If we’re going to bring in someone from the side, surely you should pay a lot more for it than it cost Dijano, who is the child of Ljubuški. Then again, we can’t be sure that it will be that quality. So as a club we are limited to function with a smaller budget and produce players. We hope that through our school we will be able to replace the departures.
Džolić concluded the announcement of the next and following seasons with the hope that “In the future Scout will be able to jump over that remaining step and play in the European final”.
