Shai Gilgeous-Alexander of the Oklahoma City Thunder and Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets were unanimously selected to the NBA’s top five, the North American Basketball League announced Sunday night.
Both players won all 100 votes for the first five from the media panel, which is a total of 500 points.
Victor Wembanyama (498) of the San Antonio Spurs had one second-place vote, falling short of a unanimous selection. Luka Doncic (91 first-place votes, 482 points) from the Los Angeles Lakers and Cade Cunningham (60, 414) of the Detroit Pistons also made the top five.

Gilgeous-Alexander, who won his second consecutive MVP award earlier this month, part is a top-five All-NBA player for the fourth consecutive season. He averaged a career-best 31.1 points with 6.6 assists and 4.3 rebounds on 55.3% shooting this season.
Jokic, three-time MVPfinished second behind Gilgeous-Alexander. He earned his sixth All-NBA first-five selection after averaging 27.7 points and leading the league in rebounds (12.9) and assists (career-high 10.7) per game, joining Russell Westbrook as the only players in NBA history to average a triple-double in multiple seasons.
Wembanyama is entered the first lineup of the NBA for the first time. He finished third in MVP voting and was unanimously named Defensive Player of the Year. Wembanyama averaged a career-high 25.0 points and 11.5 rebounds and led the league with 3.1 blocks per game.
Doncic and Cunningham each played 64 games, one short of the 65-game threshold for the award, but appealed to have considered for awards. Doncic missed two games returning to Slovenia for the birth of his daughter, and in Game 64 he injured his hamstring and missed the rest of the regular season, while Cunningham missed 11 games due to a collapsed lung.
For the second time in his career, Dončić led the NBA in scoring (33.5), while for the sixth time, and for the first time with the Lakers, he received recognition for the first lineup of the All-NBA league. He set a Lakers record with 254 3-pointers and also averaged 8.3 assists and 7.7 rebounds.
Cunningham was the biggest factor in the Pistons’ risewho had the best record in the Eastern Conference in the regular season. He earned his first pick in the top five of the NBA with an average of 23.9 points, career bests of 9.9 assists and 5.5 rebounds.
