According to the Calendar of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the first day of Eid al-Fitr in the year 1447 AD, that is, in the year 2026, is Friday, March 20.
The Eid prayer in the Gazi Husrev Bey Mosque in Sarajevo will be offered at 6:29 a.m., and the Eid sermon will be delivered by the reisul-ulema of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina Husein-ef. Kavazovic.
Sabah prayer will be offered at 5:15 am.
The central Eid ceremony of the Rijaset of the Islamic Community in BiH, which will be broadcast live on BHT1 and BIR television, begins at 5:45 a.m.
The traditional Eid greeting at the reisul-ulema Kavazović will be held from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the Administrative Building of Rijaset in Kovači.
Zenica: Central Eid celebration in the Sultan Ahmedova-Čaršija mosque
According to the protocol, Fajr prayer will be offered at 5:11 a.m., at 5:30 a.m. the Yasin for the martyrs will be recited, while at 5:50 a.m. the recitation of ilahi and qasida will begin.
From 6:05 a.m. until the beginning of the Eid prayer, the wazu-nasihat will be said by Hafiz Prof. Ph.D. Safet-ef. Husejnović.
Travnik
Sabah prayer in Travnik will be offered at 5:15 a.m., while Eid prayer will be offered at 6:30 a.m.
The central Eid ceremony of the Mufti of Travniki will be held in the Ibrahim Pasha Madrasa of Elche.
Eid prayers will be offered in 10 congregations in the city area.
Tuzla
The Eid prayer will be offered on Friday, March 20, 2026, at 6:28 a.m., in all mosques in the area of the Majlis Tuzla.
The Eid sermon will be delivered by the mufti of Tuzla, dr. Vahid-ef. Fazlović.
Mostar: Eid prayer in 160 mosques
In the area of the Mufti of Mostar, Eid prayers will be offered in 160 mosques and mosques.
The central Eid ceremony will be held in the oldest mosque in Mostar – the Sinan Pasha (Atik) mosque on Mejdan, where the Eid prayer will be led and the Eid sermon will be delivered by the mufti of Mostar, dr. Salem-ef. Dedovic.

The Eid prayer will be led and the sermon delivered by Remzija-ef. Pitić, mufti of Gorazdan.
Eid prayer will be offered in this mosque for the first time after more than 80 years since its demolition, while morning prayer will be offered in the mosque of Sinan Pasha Boljanić in Čajnič.
Banja Luka
The central program for the Muftiluk area of Banja Luka will be in the Ferhat Pasha Mosque in Banja Luka. The Sabah prayer will be performed at 05:20, and then Muris Spahić, the director of the “Reis Ibrahim-ef. Maglajlić” Madrasah, will say the prayer until the Eid prayer.
