The Israeli army killed three Palestinians on Sunday and carried out a series of airstrikes on different parts of the Gaza Strip, reports Anadolu.
A Palestinian was killed after an Israeli drone opened fire in an area from which the army withdrew under a ceasefire agreement, northwest of the southern Gaza city of Rafah, a medical source told Anadolu.
Another Palestinian, a fisherman, was also killed by Israeli forces, another medical source said.
According to local sources, Israeli naval forces fired shots in the coastal areas of Khan Younis and Rafah in southern Gaza earlier on Sunday.
On the northwestern outskirts of Rafah, another Palestinian was shot in the head by Israeli forces and his condition was described as “critical,” according to medical sources.
Local sources say that the area where the Palestinian was wounded is one of those from which the Israeli army withdrew under the ceasefire agreement.
A 15-year-old boy was killed by Israeli fire in the Joura Al-Lout area, south of the southern Gaza city of Khan Younis, from which the army withdrew under the agreement, a medical source told Anadolu.
Another Palestinian suffered a bullet wound to the thigh after Israeli naval forces opened fire off the coast of Deir al-Balah in central Gaza, according to medical sources and witnesses.
Israeli warplanes carried out a series of airstrikes on various areas north and west of Rafah.
At the same time, the Israeli army demolished residential buildings in eastern Khan Younis, with artillery fire on areas under its control under the agreement.
Separately, Israeli planes carried out airstrikes on various areas of northern Gaza and east of Gaza.
In central Gaza, Israeli military vehicles fired indiscriminate fire toward the eastern parts of the Bureij refugee camp.
Since the ceasefire agreement took effect on October 10, the Israeli military has committed hundreds of violations, killing 420 Palestinians and wounding 1,184, according to the Health Ministry.
The ceasefire halted Israel’s two-year war that has killed nearly 71,400 Palestinians, most of them women and children, injured more than 171,200 people and left the enclave in ruins. Yet despite the ceasefire, Israel’s deadly attacks on Gaza continue.
