Israel has a concrete plan “to continue” its military campaign in Gaza, says Israel’s official for the Times of Israel.
“If any other side decides to return to real negotiations, and we return to serious conversations, then we will stop (offensive). We have no other choice at the moment.”
The second Israeli official says for the newspaper Israel Hay that the goal of Israel is in the renovated air campaign in Gaza to force Hamas to agree to the original “Witkoff’s proposal” for hostage negotiations.
According to the plan, which Israel attributes to the US Special Envoy Stevo Witkoff, half of the hostage should be released at the beginning of the promice extension, which would last until after the passage in mid-April. The other half would be released if the agreement was reached on the end of the war.
“Without small releases hostages and without games, the goal is to free everything,” says the official.
