The Ministry of Communications and Transport of Bosnia and Herzegovina, on which Edin Forto, proposed a decision on the formation of the Committee for Facilitation of International and Inter-Entity Traffic.
Such a proposal arrives after the carriers have been warned for years in a number of problems, including unbearable debt to the border and the problem of limited time of stay in the European Union, which is due to the drivers received sentences.
According to the decision proposed, the Board would have representatives of 15 institutions, which, each for its article, bear the costs of participation in the meetings of the future committee, such as travel, accommodation and stay costs. The Board would meet at least twice a year, and “continuously would deal with the problems of the carrier”.

– I hope there will be no veterinarians in the committee. Well you know that one year our line minister was a veterinarian, one dentist. This board would also be a solution, but there must be someone from passenger and freight traffic. Nobody understands anyone here, and there is a wall. We carried out on windwalks. He pointed out that the last two years in this association at VTKBiH had countless conclusions, initiatives, that they were sent to the Council of Ministers of BiH, counselors of ministers, and the Minister Forti.

He stated that of 30 his employees who went to Europe, one to two per week, with a sentence, which he must answer, and the questions are, for example, whether you have the money in Austria or plan to settle here.
– From the answer, it depends whether my driver will get a ban. I would bring that questionnaire to that committee (planning to establish) to see what interests them. And the first thing that should be done on the board is to establish contact with a lobbying house through neighboring countries, through Croatia and Slovenia. This so far that was done, he didn’t choose a good road – the attitude is Cvijić.
From the Ministry of Communications and Transport of BiH, in the reasoning the proposed decision on the formation of the Committee state that the Ministry and other competent institutions is already indicated by the problems of the carrier.
– BiH carriers face numerous business plan challenges such as drivers to work abroad, conditional permits, customs procedures, tax and other allocations. Domestic carriers have already long periods of the Ministry and other competent institutions on the issue of the driver in the EU countries, due to the overall transitions and long-stay days for a maximum of 90 days for a period of 180 days. The Ministry is acquainted with information on the disposal of misdemeanor orders and prohibition of entering individual drivers of cargo vehicles due to the overdraft of the stay in the EU – is part of the explanation.
