Iran’s Revolutionary Guards said it targeted Amazon’s computer center in Bahrain in retaliation for attacks on the Islamic Republic.
Iranian state media reports that centers for so-called cloud services were attacked.
Iran’s Revolutionary Guards announced earlier that they would begin targeting American companies in the Middle East region.
State media previously published a list of American companies that the Iranian Revolutionary Guard could allegedly target, including a number of well-known companies, Index reports.
Among the 18 companies the IRGC named in its threat are Microsoft, Google, Apple, Intel, IBM, Tesla and Boeing.
The IRGC called on the employees of those companies to “leave their jobs immediately”.
