The American intelligence assessment determined that Israel may consider attacks on Iranian nuclear plants this year, posted Wall Street Journal yesterday.
The estimate, conducted during the last days of Biden administration, concluded that Israel considers extensive attacks on Iranian nuclear plants with the aim of utilizing Iran’s weakness.
Wall Street Journal also reported that Israel will encourage the current administration to support this idea, as the US President Donald Trump considered a person who could potentially join attacks. U.S. military sources told Wall Street Journal that US support, including weapons supply, was crucial to the successful implementation of such attacks by Israel, index.hr.
Furthermore, the report states that Israel is concerned about the time frame because the opportunity to stop Iranian nuclear capacities decreases. The report also states that the Prime Minister’s Office did not respond, as well as a spokesman for Israeli defense forces (IDF).
Trump recently stated that he would rather sign an agreement with Iran to make him unpublished but attacked by the Islamic Republic, in an interview for New York Post. “I would like to achieve an agreement with Iran about the non-clayarity. I would rather it but bombard,” said U.S. president.
“They don’t want to die. Nobody wants to die,” he added.
