Before tonight’s match between the national teams of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Italy, which will be played from 20:45 at the stadium Bilino Polje, Ministry of Internal Affairs of Zenica-Doboj Canton has taken increased security measures.
As reported by the Police Administration, surveillance was additionally intensified using modern video surveillance systems that cover key locations in Pupilincluding approaches to the city and the area in and around the stadium.
A special segment of insurance will be the use of drones, as well as police vehicles equipped with cameras for video and audio recording. A total of 120 fixed cameras are in operation throughout the city, while 72 police vehicles are equipped with mobile surveillance systems.
In addition, four drones with cameras were deployed, which enable aerial surveillance and quick assessment of the security situation in real time.
Of the total number of cameras, 70 of them have advanced analytical functions, including recognition of license plates and detection of suspicious activities. Collected data is processed through an information system RENATAwhich uses modern artificial intelligence algorithms.
The police point out that such systems enable timely response to all security challenges, prevention of incidents, and efficient processing of misdemeanors and crimes.
It was emphasized that the application of modern technologies in securing such events further improves the efficiency and professionalism of police structures, bringing them closer to the standards of developed European countries.
