In the new EU Caffeine Regulation, marked as harmful to people

The European Union is in the Regulation prohibiting the use of caffeine as a pesticide announced that coffee is harmful to humans, writes telegraph.

As explained, there is scientific evidence to support the claims that ‘caffeine is harmful to people if swallowed’.

The report is said that caffeine, the main ingredient of the coffee, can have harmful effects on the heart, hydration and body temperature, as well as cause anxiety and sleep problems.

It is also adds that additional research is needed to reveal if there is a caffeine risk for people who work with it or live near the place where it is processed.

The report was published to support the decision to ban the use of caffeine for killing snails in cabbage and potato fields.

However, the content of the report caused concern that one day regulations could jeopardize the drinking coffee, one of the main features of the European Lifestyle.

Anders Vistisen, Danish agent in the European Parliament and a member of the Patriot for Europe said: ‘Even undesirable and unnecessary decisions and new interference of Brussels bureaucrats. What does all this take? Will he really force us really to force us to drink coffee without caffeine? This becomes funny. No one thinks smoking and whiskey are good for you, but they add pleasure in the lives of many people ‘, he added.

Vistisen said that the latest report resembled a desert attempt to Brussels to ban cinnamon pastries.

Namely, one Danish pastries had to be again classified as ‘traditional’ food to avoid the EU limit on Kumarin, a cinnamon compound in large doses.

Vistisen added: ‘A few years ago, the EU wanted to ban the cinnamon in Danish pastries and the bakery union had to strain about it. It would be much more appropriate for everyone that many of these issues are left to national jurisdiction and personal choice. ‘

Bakers also had problems and with a ban on Titanium dioxide and other foods, so they had to process their recipes that products would not have to throw out the EU market.
