In the last 15 months, 10,000 jobs were lost in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, according to the data of the Tax Administration of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. This devastating and frightening information prompted the delegate in the House of Peoples of the FBiH Parliament, Fahrudin Čolaković, to ask the federal institutions, the FBiH Parliament, how many employees they had in 2023, and how many they have now, whether there is a crisis for them.
– Interesting, the public sector because it remained the same or in some services the number of employees increased. I haven’t heard back from everyone. I expect answers from the federal ministries, for example. I wanted to see if the public sector suffered consequences as an economy, due to the behavior of the Government of the Federation, its incoherent decisions in 2024 when a major disruption was made, when it comes to economic developments in the Federation. Proof of this is that 10,000 jobs have been lost in the last 15 months – said Čolaković for Faktor.
Answering Čolaković’s question, let’s say from the Service for Joint Affairs of Bodies and Bodies of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, it was stated that on 31.03.2023. had 368 employees, and that number on March 31 of this year amounted to 387 employees.
This service has four departments, 12 departments, and some of them are for personnel and legal affairs, property, housing, construction-craft, catering services…
– Bearing in mind the volume of reduced work, when it comes to the work of the Parliament of the FBiH and the Government of the Federation of BiH and these results we have, which increase the number of jobs, it can be summed up under one thing, it is a question of pure slander that has no cover in anything. There is no argument to increase the number of employees in any institution – said Čolaković.
In response to Čolaković’s question, the House of Peoples of the FBiH Parliament stated that on March 31, 2023, they had 80 delegates / advisers, and 25 civil servants, employees in the Professional Service of the House of Peoples of the FBiH, a total of 105, while this year they have 77 delegates / advisers and 30 civil servants, employees, a total of 107.
In the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament on March 31, 2023, there were 95 advisers/representatives, and 27 civil servants, employees, a total of 122, while on March 31 this year, that number was 94 representatives/advisors and 27 civil servants, employees, which is a total of 121, he states Factor.
