Zlatan Ibrahimović has given a clear ultimatum to Luka Modrić when it comes to his future in Milan.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, as reported by tportal, the legendary striker and current senior advisor of the Rossoneri had a direct conversation with the Croatian midfielder and asked him to make a decision as soon as possible on whether he will stay at San Siro next season.
Luka Modrić has a contract with AC Milan until the end of the season. Although the club has an option to extend the cooperation, it can only be activated with his consent.
The management of Milan is satisfied with his performances and wants to keep him, but Zlatan Ibrahimović expects a quick answer so that preparations for the next season can be planned in time.
Modric enjoys great respect in the Italian giants. In the current part of the season, he played 28 games, scored two goals and recorded three assists, with 2144 minutes spent on the field, which ranks him among the team’s most used players.
Milan is currently ten points behind city rivals Inter Milan, and the 1:0 defeat by Parma Calcio 1913 made the fight for the top of the table even more difficult.
