Hundreds of flights will be canceled due to the pilot strike of the German airline Lufthansa, which began at midnight and will last until Tuesday evening, the German news agency dpa reports.
The biggest impact is expected at the airports in Frankfurt and Munich, while cancellations also hit international lines.
The strike will affect not only Lufthansa, but also its subsidiaries – Lufthansa Cargo and Lufthansa CityLine. With Eurowings, disruptions will be limited to Monday, and for all departures from German airports.
This is already the fourth strike within the Lufthansa Group this year. Let us remind you that last week, a one-day suspension of cabin crew work led to the cancellation of a large number of flights and additional problems in air traffic throughout Europe.
