In the organization of the Embassy of the State Kuwait and humanitarian organizations, the Association for Welfare is today shared assistance worth 50,000 KM.
These are several hundred food packages and 130 meters of wood for returnees in the Municipality of Doboj East, but also the citizens of Sarajevo Canton.
– This is the continuation of multi-year cooperation. We are glad that help arrived in the right hands, and with this action, we marked the National Holidays in Kuwait, Independence Day (25. February) and the day of the liberation. And in the coming period we plan a few more actions – said Sarah Alhuseni, the idler of the Embassy of the State of Kuwait.
The departure of the six trucks from Vogošće attended the representatives of the Federal Ministry of Displaced persons and refugees, the representative of the House of Parliament of the Federation of BiH, representatives of the Vacuffin Directorate of the Islamic Community and Ayman al Fakawy, director of the Welfare Association.
– Today, the traditional Kuwaiti caravan of mercy started, and for the fourth year in a row, on the occasion of the national holidays of the State Kuwait. It is a message from Kuwait for Bosnia and Herzegovina, one convoy of humanitarian aid, which will share the help of the families in which it is most needed. We have 400 food packages, 130 meters of wood, about 200 blankets, which will be shared today and the next two days. We wish happy national holidays Kuwait and appeal for a better relationship between Kuwait and Bosnia and Herzegovina – said Ayman al Fakawy, director of the Welfare Association.
Today, Fuad Abaspahić was also in the function of the assistance coordinator.
– I am grateful to the Kuwait state, as well as the organization of the Association for Welfare on this assistance for BiH citizens who will be very valuable and significant. Also, I want to emphasize that this association has been working in BiH for more than two decades and that their projects are very valuable and significant in each segment, of humanitarian, religious, educational to the economy, and that these are realized projects worth several hundred million, And which will continue in the coming years – says Abaspahić.
