Four people were injured after a cable snapped during an amusement ride in Spain.
The incident happened at the “Steel Max” attraction, which operates according to the principle of bungee jumping, on Friday evening around 8:20 p.m. local time, the city’s emergency services announced.
According to their statements, four people received minor injuries and were treated on the spot, while two people – who were at the attraction itself – were transported to a health facility for additional examinations.
Firefighters immediately secured the area and closed access to the attraction, while civil protection services responded on the ground.
Footage published in the media shows the moment when the capsule with two seats is launched into the air to a height of about 90 meters, after which the cable breaks during the rotation, as a result of which the capsule suddenly falls towards the ground.

Passengers were reportedly strapped into their seats as the capsule hung in the air, visibly distressed, before being lowered and treated. They were transported to a local health center, reports La Razon.
Among the injured are two children who were on the ride, as well as two people who were hit by debris on the ground. All escaped with minor injuries, and their identities have not been released.
The competent services state that the police reviewed the documentation of the attraction and that all emergency services responded quickly.
The investigation into the incident is being conducted by the Spanish National Police.
The Seville Fair is a traditional event that takes place every year in April in the city’s Los Remedios district, on the banks of the river, and gathers a large number of visitors.
