At the World Cup, he scored four goals, although he did not start a single game. In 1994, at the age of 42, he again appeared in the World Cup in the USA and scored a goal against Russia, breaking his own record as the oldest goalscorer.
An interesting fact about his career is that he named his famous dance “Danse des canaris” (Canary Dance), inspired by traditional Cameroonian dances. The dance became so popular that many players later imitated it, but no one could convey the same energy and authenticity that Milla displayed.
