Prime Minister ZDK Nezir Pivic he said that the safety of citizens is one of the main priorities of the ZDK Government, emphasizing that in the last two and a half years, more than 30 million KM have been invested in equipping the police.
Minister of Internal Affairs ZDK Emir Vraco he emphasized that the police is also strengthening its personnel, stating that more than 220 new police officers have been hired, while another 195 of them are currently studying at the Police Academy.
Commissioner of Police Admir Gazić he stated that the security situation in the area of the canton is satisfactory, with a decrease in the number of criminal offenses and traffic accidents with fatal consequences.
During the ceremony, numerous awards were given to the most successful police officers and organizational units. Among the winners of the “Golden Police Badge” were Edina Memišević, Elvedin Fišek, and posthumously Vlatko Popov, a longtime member of the Special Police Unit and president of the ZDK MUP Trade Union.
This year, the Visoko Police Station received the collective award “Relief Coat of Arms of BiH”; the award “Flag of the Ministry of ZDK with the national coat of arms” Police Station Žepče, and the award “Written Praise” Department for Administration Visoko. Silver bracelets were awarded to: Mirnes Duraković (Sector of Criminal Police), Nermin Bukvić (Sector of Uniformed Police), Tarik Brodlija (Special Police Unit), Haris Begović (Police Station Tešanj) and Haris Aličković (Police Station Crkvice in Zenica).
