The Grude Bicycle Club installed modern bicycle parking lots on 12 playgrounds in the Grude municipality.
Grude Cycling Club he designed and realized the project of setting up modern bicycle parking lots on 12 playgrounds in the area municipality of Grude.
The aim of the project is to encourage children, young people and citizens to use bicycles more often as a healthy, practical and environmentally friendly means of transport.
Secure parking for all types of bicycles
The installed parking systems are designed to enable easy and safe parking of the bicycle by placing the front or rear wheel in the designated place.
Their modern and functional design is adapted to different types of bicycles, from the smallest children’s to adult models.
The parking lot is adapted to different types of tires, from narrow road tires to wider tires MTB and electric bicycles.
Special attention is paid to the safety of bicycles, so there should be no damage to the rims, disks or other parts of the bicycle during parking.
Tidier and more functional playgrounds
The Grude Bicycle Club points out that the goal of the project is not only to improve the bicycle infrastructure, but also to contribute to a neater and more functional appearance of the playground.
By setting up a parking lot, bicycles can be left in the designated places, which further arranges the space around the playground and facilitates its use.
The project was financed by the Ministry of Education and Culture
The project was fully financed Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the West Herzegovina County.
From BK Grude they thanked the Ministry for their support and recognition of the importance of developing sports and recreational infrastructure in the local community.
With this project, the Grude Bicycle Club continues its activities aimed at the development of cycling and the promotion of a healthy lifestyle in the municipality of Grude.
