Majorettes from Mostar achieved great success at the III. International Majorette Cup of Nations, winning one gold, two silver and one bronze medal.
Majorettes from Mostar from May 22 to 25, 2026, they participated in III. International majorette cup of nationswhich this year was held in the Republic of Croatia, on the island of Krk.
They returned from the competition in the city of Krk to Mostar with a total of four medalsone gold, two silver and one bronze.
III. The International Cup of Nations was organized as part of National Championship of Majorettes of the Republic of Croatiain which a total of approx 1,000 female majorettes.
Five appearances and four medals
Majorettes from Mostar at this year’s Cup of Nations presented themselves with five dance expressions, i.e. in five categories.
- Seniors, pom-pom category (19 female dancers) – gold medal
- Cadets, pole category (17 dancers) – silver medal
- Juniors, pole category (17 dancers) – silver medal
- Juniors, pom-pom category (17 female dancers) – bronze medal
- Cadets, pom-pom category (21 dancers) – fourth place
The performances of Mostar women in all categories elicited the support of a large audience, as well as the profession, which recognized the quality of their teams.
Success of new generations
The Majorettes from Mostar especially pointed out that new generations in the formation categories presented themselves at this competition, among which there were girls for whom this was their first competitive experience.
Therefore, as they state, this success has even greater value.
The competition program lasted three days, and the performances were divided into categories. During their stay on Krk, girls and boys had the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the island of Krk.
We are extremely proud of another great success of our girls and we are happy that this year’s generation had the opportunity to compete with colleagues from the region. A big celebration for 30 years of work will follow
After returning from the competition, the Majorettes of Mostar continue preparations for a big celebration on the occasion 30 years of work and activities club.
A big dance event is being prepared, which will take place on Sunday, June 14, 2026in the great hall of the Croatian House of Duke Stjepan Kosača.
The dance evening will be attended by all ages and permanent members of the Majorettes of Mostar, more than 100with their choreographies that they prepare just for this event.
In addition to the current members, the first generation with whom the story of the Majorettes of Mostar began in 1995 will participate in the program, and numerous surprises are in the works.
The club believes that this event will be a special experience for all participants and the audience, and an opportunity to show why they are there in the most beautiful way Majorettes from Mostar for 30 years one of the most beautiful ambassadors of Mostar and one of the most respected dance and sports collectives in the city.
