Today, the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, at a telephone session, at the proposal of the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Policy, adopted decisions on the adoption of four programs of expenditure of funds with distribution criteria from capital and current transfers determined by the Budget of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the year 2026 in the total amount of 5,070,000 KM.
The adopted program for spending funds from capital transfers to non-profit organizations for care institutions at the level of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina foresees an amount of 3,000,000 KM as support for the development of existing and the establishment of new forms of social services, as well as for the improvement of housing conditions for users and work conditions for employees. The beneficiaries of these funds are institutions for social care and health care in Bakovići, Drin and Ljubuški, and institutions for social care, health care, upbringing and education in Pazarić and Sarajevo.
The program for the expenditure of funds from current transfers to non-profit organizations to support non-institutional forms of care and protection provides 2,000,000 KM, which are intended for at least ten non-profit organizations that operate in the social and child protection system and provide at least one of the social services for the implementation of the Social Care and Social Support Program in family models of care or in models of support for life in the community. The purpose of this program is to prevent the institutionalization of vulnerable individuals and groups (children, persons with disabilities or the elderly) through their social care and social support in family models of care or in models of support for life in the community.
The Program for spending funds from current transfers to non-profit organizations – Strategy for improving the rights and position of persons with disabilities in the Federation of BiH 2025-2030 was also adopted. year in the amount of 50,000 KM to improve the social inclusion of marginalized groups. Beneficiaries of these funds are associations and non-governmental organizations selected through a public call.
Also adopted was the Program for spending funds from current transfers to other levels of government and funds for the implementation of activities provided for in the Decree on the Implementation of Educational Recommendations for Minors in the Federation of BiH in the amount of 20,000 KM. These funds are planned for the professional training program in the field of application of educational recommendations to juvenile offenders.
