Goražde would be hosted in August to the best volleyball players of BiH in the match against Montenegro, within the qualifications for the European Championship 2026. Which will be held in Azerbaijan, Turkey, the Czech Republic and Sweden.
The BiH Volleyball Association (OS) of BiH on this occasion visited the City Hall “Mirsad Hurić” to see the conditions for playing the match. The Supervisor of the Faruk Softić Faruk Softic stressed that they must be by the CEV rules.
– Today, I am here to see if the hall meets the technical conditions in the PPE regulations for the play of volleyball matches, especially representative. We are honored that we believe that the technical conditions will meet with some minimum recommendations, which should be resolved, so that the match will be organized in Goražde, and others will be played in Malta. We hope that everything will be fine on the issue – Softić said.
President OK Goražde Nermin Footwear is proud of the fact that Goražde is in the narrower election for the hosts since the city in the Drina never hosted any volleyball team.
– Nine years as we competed in PL BiH we were able to impose our obligations, when it comes to the AF BiH, and we have good cooperation and that fact has been competing for our support to the organization of the EP. We are of course satisfied with that we have entered into a shortlist and we hope that in cooperation with the Alliance, we will be able to meet the technical requirements that are at the high level when it comes to playing those games – shoes.
He announced that, if necessary, assistance will also be requested from the city and cantonal authorities, so that the conditions are provided on time.
– I guess the biggest problem will be the lighting that needs to be adequate for international matches and our hall is not currently satisfying, so we can probably have to act in that direction. For the rest, we will see after the OS BiH delivered the remarks that should be resolved. The match would play 6. Augusta, and also one part would prepare the best volleyball players also in Goražde. We have enough time to prepare for a quality for this event – the footwear said.
