German firstligais banned fan song because he wrote her nazi

German Nicoleist St. Pauli decided to stop releasing the fan song “Das Herz Von St. Paul” at his stadium MillerernTor, although it comes to one of the favorite hits of the Hamburg Club Fans.

The reason for the prohibition is that it was discovered as the author of the song is.

The verses wrote Josef Ollig, and as German Spiegel writes, the Researchers of the club museum came to new knowledge about his biography during the root research of his song.

Ollig was a soldier Wehrmacht, and during the Second World War, he was the correspondent of the Nazi media.

“We know that the song means a lot to our fans. But the anthem should serve to connect people. Number of fans and members pointed to not feel more comfortable with that song in the stadium”, He said the President of the Oke Göttlich club.
