Bosnia and Herzegovina is dramatic qualified for the World Championship. In the play-off final, they beat Italy on penalties in Zenica after the score was 1:1 after 120 minutes.

Pio Esposito takes his penalty high, and the Bosnian goalkeeper, standing behind the goal, celebrates. This infuriates Donnarumma. Initial reports suggest that Gigio, out of anger, tore up the notes on which his opponent noted the characteristics of the Italian penalty takers.
