Iranian media reported that on Wednesday, four ships sailed in waters adjacent to, to and from Iran, despite the US blockade that took effect on Tuesday.
These are the ships Agios Fanourios, operated by a Greek company, followed by Alicia and RHN, operated by Chinese companies, and the Iranian container ship Golbon, according to the semi-official Iranian agencies Tasnim and Mehr.
Data from the MarineTraffic service showed the movement of those ships. According to these data, three vessels entered Iranian waters, while Golbon sailed from them.
Tasnim states that the Iranian container ship Golbon, which is under US sanctions, “continued to sail near the Strait of Hormuz despite US threats and the blockade of the US Navy”.
