One person was killed in the attack in Khan Younis in southern Gaza, and several others were wounded, local doctors said. The Israeli army announced that it had attacked Palestinian fighters transporting ammunition, which it said posed a threat to Israeli soldiers.
The three others killed, including a rescuer, were killed in a separate attack in Maghazi, a Palestinian refugee camp in the Deir al-Balah area of central Gaza, health officials said.
The Israeli military had no immediate comment on the attack.
Israel has launched multiple attacks on Gaza since a US-Israeli-brokered ceasefire took effect in October. Both Israel and Hamas accuse each other of violating the ceasefire.
There is no mechanism to enforce a ceasefire. Four Israeli soldiers and more than 780 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza since the ceasefire began.
“There is no ceasefire, no truce, absolutely nothing,” said Mohammed Baalousha, a relative of one of the victims.
“There is no security in any area,” he said.
The Israeli army did not comment on the attack, reports Reuters.
