The policy of Brussels to bring Russia to its knees is wrong and unproductive, because Russians only kneel when they tie their shoelaces, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico said.
– That’s a problem, some strategy is being made to bring Russia to its knees. I think it’s a bad and unworkable strategy, because it can’t happen – said Fico in a video message on the X platform.
He emphasized that, since the beginning of the Russian special military operation in Ukraine, fake news about the alleged bringing of Moscow to its knees has been circulating in the media, reports Srna.
– Russians like to say: when we kneel, it’s because we’re tying our shoelaces, not because someone ordered us to – added the Slovak Prime Minister.
